So as most of you know, 1 Direction (aka 1D fyi) came to Singapore for the FIRST TIME EVER and held their On the Road Again (#OTRAsg) tour at Sports Hub on 11 March. Before anyone released any news about 1D coming over to SG, there were countless rumours saying how they would probably drop by here during their Asia Tour. Chow and I were quite doubtful initially but when the dates were finally confirmed, we were extremely excited for it and we came up with a few plans on how to purchase the tickets just in case they got sold out real quick.
So basically, Chow decided to queue up at POSB to purchase the tix (apparently you can do that?? hmm). We woke up as early as 7+ to get ready and shits, but to our disappointment, there was already a long queue at POSB when Chow reached around 8. Chow then called me immediately and we decided that it would be great if we do it both ways- online purchase and purchasing it physically. I logged on to the website and got so frustrated because it failed for a number of times before I could confirm my purchase. Nonetheless, after 1h of queuing + spamming the refresh button, we finally got our tickets at $172 each! We decided to purchase the tickets from the standing category too cos we wanted to be closer to them boys ;)

After what seemed like years of waiting, the day finally arrived! This kind of slipped off my mind cos I remember meeting Chow for dinner the week before the concert and before we parted ways, she said "See you next week!" and I was like "for what".... LOL.
Anyway it was a really tiring day for me that day. I had my GP Block Test on that day (which ended at 330pm... zz) and I had to rush home to prepare before heading out. Was really late too cos I couldn't decide on my outfit so I had to cab to causeway point before meeting Nishi and Afiqah! (Both of them are from my school and we're all from floorball. We found out we were going for the same concert while chatting a few months back.) Was really anxious on the cab whilst on the way there cos there were countless reminders on the road (those ERP look alike signs that indicates to you
about road blocks ahead or something) that kept advising drivers to avoid driving towards this direction between 5pm-11pm due to possible traffic congestion T_T We were so afraid we were gonna miss the concert!! (more afraid of the taxi fare actually hahahah)
Nevertheless, we got there within 30mins and our taxi fare amounted to only $21 ($7each wtheck!!!??! SO CHEAP) so it was all good. Heard a lot of screaming fans while we were waiting for our friends and we thought 1D was doing their sound check..... And guess what. It turned out to be the retarded fans who like to scream for NOTHING and they kept doing this while we were queuing up/waiting for 1D at the concert. SUPER IRRITATING I SWEAR TO GAWD

Queued for about an hour before heading in!! THE PLACE WAS HUGEEEE and we rushed in to only realise that we were in the midst of everybody else (which also meant that we're far away from the boys the stage and the rest of the world... We're located in the center and if we were to faint nobody would probably realise too LOL)
As you can see from the picture, there's already a huge crowd located near the stage area and we're like way back from the stage :(
Had zero idea why was there a huge X in the middle of the screen because it kind of reminded me of Ed Sheeran's latest album hmm
Excited us in the midst of countless beings!!
Before 1D came out, there was a DJ from Zouk that kind of just kickstarted the hype. He played many funky songs (mostly mainstream music) that we can all relate to and that is probably my first closest clubbing experience HAHA. Have yet to club before cos 1) I'm a freaking December baby 2) Most of my friends don't really club 3) Probably too poor for that shit too.
The DJ left around 8pm (we entered around 6?) and we had to bear with the numerous advertisements playing on the big screen cos 1D was late!! (There were news saying that the concert started late cos Zayn only arrived at SG @ 5pm cos he missed his flight) During that 1h of painful and torturous time wasting, I kept thinking why didn't I bring my water bottle or at least my notes. Felt kind of pathetic COS I WAS SUPPOSED TO ENJOY MYSELF
Okay so around 9pm, the entire stadium FINALLY had their lights go off and 1D's video started to play on the big screen!! ALL THE GIRLS WERE SCREAMING LIKE MAD and I too screamed cos it occurred to me that I'M FINALLY FINALLY SEEING THE BOYS IN REAL LIFE FOR THE VERY FIRST AND PROBABLY ONLY TIME IN MY LIFE. I was so excited I kept jumping up and down and had my phone faced towards the stage because I wanted to capture that moment when they entered!
(I tried uploading a video on blogger but apparently it doesn't load so meh, whatever)
So yes, the mood got really high after their first song, Clouds, from their latest album FOUR!!
I love that song soooOOOoOoo much and it was Harry who started singing first.... Omg when he appeared on the stage it felt so surreal and unreal and whatever not because all those fangirling behind the screen finally turned into something so.... real. I can't put my feelings into words because it really felt like I was in a dream!!
Though I was pretty far away from the stage, I was still able to take some decent shots! Very amazed with my iPhone heheheeh CHECK OUT HARRY HERE OMIGOD

Personally, this is one of my favourite shots of the day! This was taken when they were singing "Little Things", and usually they would sing at the edge of the stage where they are closer to the fans and all but apparently that area was too small for them so they went to the back of the stage (WHERE I WAS NEAREST TO) and sang!! They looked so cute omg look at them smiling happily T_T

Overall, it was a freaking fruitful day even though I was hella tired. I had so much fun that night jumping and singing and dancing and shoving people aside (I'm sorry) it was really a fantastic experience for me. There's so much more I wanna share with you guys about the concert (especially the videos omg I've uploaded a few on my private insta and I couldn't stop watching them.. they make me so happy!!) but it's 2am now and I gotta sleep. There's math consultation later on in the day at 11am and I have to proceed on to another day of studying after that. Ngawww :(
Nevertheless, I feel so much better after blogging this out because now you guys can share my happiness with me too :') HAHAHA if you don't want it's okay but the concert really makes me so happy (i'm sorry if i don't have enough synonyms to describe this mood it's really just HAPPINESS) on so many levels. I remember having a bad day in school and watching all the past videos instantly killed all the negative vibes. Am I being too dramatic HAHAHA
